Abstract | We would like to share a problem with you that has some subtle features. We will examine how we believe students may approach this problem -- students that we shall characterize as "marginal," "good," and "exceptional" for convenience of discussion. We will see that one can use the incorrect response of the good student as a springboard to go into more advanced course content. (As Provided). |
